Remembering Pete Fountain
Legendary New Orleans jazz clarinetist Pete Fountain died on August 6, 2016, at age 86. Through the years, Fountain made a few appearances on LPB, which are now available on the LDMA.
In 1983, Fountain discussed his life and career with Louisiana Legends host Gus Weill.
In 1993, Fountain was named a Louisiana Legend.
In 1995, Fountain joined Chef John Folse in the kitchen to prepare Yam and Praline Pie.
In 1983, jazz trumpeter Al Hirt talked to Louisiana Legends host Gus Weill about his friendship with Fountain.
