Description

In this episode from the “Hooks, Lies, and Alibis” series of “A Taste of Louisiana” from May 11, 2015, Chef John Folse visits the Toledo Bend Reservoir and talks to Harold Allen, a champion bass fisherman. He prepares Herb-Baked Largemouth Bass with Chef Randy Ziegler, the owner of Wildwood Resort on Toledo Bend and The Landing Restaurant in Natchitoches. Chef Folse then returns home to White Oak Plantation and cooks Pancake Battered Bass and Lake Bruin Crappie Burgers with Jerry “JT” Thompson, the owner of the Living the Dream Guide Service on Toledo Bend. Lastly, Chef Folse mixes a drink called the Dock Rocker.
