This documentary from September 20, 2004, focuses on the 4,315 German prisoners of war from World War II who were housed at Camp Ruston in Ruston, Louisiana, from 1943-1946. The prisoners of war served in General Erwin Rommel’s North Afrika Korps and the Kriegsmarine, or German Navy.
