This segment from the January 17, 1988, episode of the series “Folks” features Sonya Masingale presenting highlights from a photography exhibit called “Martin Luther King, Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement.” The exhibit was obtained from the Texas Humanities Resource Center by a grant from the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities and presented by the Division of Black Culture and Louisiana Black Culture Commission.
