This episode of the series “En Francais” from June 19, 1983, features a visit to the Quebec House and the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Lafayette, Louisiana. Philippe Gustin first interviews Marc Boucher of the Quebec Delegation, who discusses the relationship between Louisiana and Quebec, Canada, and Quebec’s French culture. Gustin then interviews Manuel Hoffpauir and Milton Broussard. Hoffpauir shares his memories of helping to build St. John’s Cathedral. This episode was preserved through a 2018 CLIR Recordings at Risk Grant.
