Description
This episode of the series “En Francais” from July 17, 1983, features a performance of the Cajun French play “Qu’est-Ce Que C’est” by Le Theatre Acadiens de Lac Charles, or the Acadian Club of Lake Charles. The story centers on a group of clowns trying to determine “What is it?” through miming and verbalizations. This episode also includes an interview with painter Louise Guidry at her home in St. Martinville, Louisiana. It also includes an interview with her mother, Eunice Bordelon. This episode was preserved through a 2018 CLIR Recordings at Risk Grant.
