This episode of the series “En Francais” from May 25, 1986, features James Fontenot’s interview with Mick Abed, a native of Jennings and the host of a Cajun music radio show on WIBR in Denham Springs, Louisiana. Fontenot then interviews Link Savoie of Sunset, Louisiana, a United States Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He discusses: his work with the military police; his role as a bodyguard for General William Westmoreland and General Alexander Haig; and his work with INTERPOL in France and Belgium. This episode was preserved through a 2018 CLIR Recordings at Risk Grant.
