Description
This episode of the series “En Francais” from January 19, 1983, features Louisiana’s contribution to the 1982 “Production Harmonisee” series. The story follows a Louisiana man who takes his French wife on a trip down the Mississippi River from Natchez, Mississippi, to New Orleans, Louisiana, on the steamboat Mississippi Queen. Along the way, they visit the Old State Capitol and State Capitol in Baton Rouge, Houmas House Plantation in Darrow, and the French Quarter in New Orleans. This episode was preserved through a 2018 CLIR Recordings at Risk Grant.
