Description
This special episode of the series “Art Rocks!” from August 10, 2018, features host James Fox-Smith presenting the profiles of the four participants in the second annual Art of Food dinner. The participants are: Billy Solitario, a painter from New Orleans; Demond Matsuo, a collage artist and painter from Baton Rouge; Mia Kaplan, a painter and sculptor from Lacombe; and Chef Michael Gulotta of MoPho and Maypop restaurants in New Orleans. Chef Gulotta then explains how his menu for the Art of Food dinner will draw inspiration from the artwork of Solitario, Matsuo, and Kaplan. This episode also includes an interview with Ann Connelly of Ann Connelly Fine Art in Baton Rouge, the host of the Art of Food dinner.
