Description
This segment from the November 9, 2018, episode of the series “Art Rocks!” features producer Dorothy Kendrick’s profile of ninety-two-year-old Lin Emery, a sculptor and kinetic artist from New Orleans, Louisiana. She discusses: her work with her mentor; her sculptures of life-sized saints for New Orleans churches; learning to weld; and her interest in kinetic art. It also includes an interview with Elizabeth Weinstein, the assistant director and chief curator at the Louisiana Art and Science Museum (LASM) in Baton Rouge.
