Description
This “Louisiana Book Talk” from the 2004 Louisiana Book Festival in Baton Rouge aired on January 4, 2005. The first segment features Beth Courtney interviewing Robert Crais, an author and screenwriter from Baton Rouge who is best known for writing the detective Elvis Cole book series. The second segment features local New Orleans author Andrei Codrescu, who reads an excerpt from his novel “Wakefield.” The final segment features author Robert Olen Butler, who reads an excerpt from his novel “Had a Good Time: Stories from American Postcards.” This program was preserved through a 2022-2023 Public Broadcasting Preservation Fellowship.
