Description
This episode of the series “Louisiana Legends” from January 21, 1983, features an interview with Bob Pettit conducted by Gus Weill. Pettit, a native of Baton Rouge, played college basketball at LSU from 1951-1954 and professional basketball with the St. Louis Hawks from 1954-1965. He was the first recipient of the NBA's Most Valuable Player Award and was later inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
