A debate at the Baton Rouge Press Club on October 12, 2015, between the four candidates for Lieutenant Governor: State Senator Elbert Guillory (R); former Plaquemines Parish President Billy Nungesser (R); Jefferson Parish President John Young (R); and Baton Rouge Mayor-President Kip Holden (D). The debate begins with each candidate’s opening statement. Members of the press then ask the candidates questions on the following topics: why they are running for the office; whether they will use a security detail; funding for state parks; whether they support moving the Department of Economic Development under the jurisdiction of the Lieutenant Governor; whether they plan to serve as the Secretary of the Department of Culture, Recreation, and Tourism; the biggest issue facing the office; and the future of the film industry in Louisiana.
