Description
A speech by Rannah Gray before the Baton Rouge Press Club on November 30, 2015. Gray is the author of “Familiar Evil,” a book about the late Scott Rogers, a Baton Rouge television personality who led a secret life as a child predator. Rogers was killed in a murder-suicide by one of his victims in 2014. She discusses: her only meeting with Rogers; receiving an email from one of Rogers’ victims in England; her investigation into Rogers in the year before his death; her role as a confidential informant in a federal investigation into Rogers; her trip to England to meet with his victims; and writing the book. Gray and her consultant Mary Jane Marcantal also answer questions from the audience.
