A speech by Dr. Belinda Davis (D) before the Baton Rouge Press Club on October 21, 2019. Dr. Davis is a political science professor at LSU and a candidate for Louisiana State House District 70. Her opponent in the November 16th run-off election, Barbara Freiburg (R), was unable to attend. Dr. Davis discusses her background and her decision to run for office.
