He discusses: the work of the Sea Grant Program in serving the state’s coastal communities; the impact of the management of the Mississippi River on coastal erosion; the need to transform flood control into coastal restoration; the coastal restoration projects currently underway; and the long-term challenge of managing the Mississippi River. He also answers questions from the audience.
