A speech by retired Lieutenant General Russel Honore before the Baton Rouge Rotary Club on June 6, 2018. Honore, the former commander of Joint Task Force Katrina, is the leader of the GreenARMY, a coalition of civic, community, and environmental groups. He discusses the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge’s commitment to serve as an international partner for the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Project of the Rotary Club in Eldoret, Kenya, which will provide safe drinking water for 13 schools in Uasin Gishu, Kenya. He also discusses the state of the drinking water systems in Louisiana. Lastly, he answers questions from the audience.
