This episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” from August 10, 1979, features an in-depth report by WVUE in New Orleans on a trip by a Louisiana delegation to Brazil to learn more about the country’s gasohol industry and to study the feasibility of producing gasohol in the state.  Gasohol is a blend of gasoline and alcohol, which can be produced by using sugar cane as the source of the alcohol.
