Description

This segment from the October 7, 1983, episode of “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Carole Leslie’s report on the 1983 gubernatorial election between former Governor Edwin Edwards and Governor Dave Treen. Leslie interviews Edwards on his campaign bus following his speech at the International Rice Festival in Crowley. She also interviews John Cade, Treen’s campaign manager, who discusses the misinformation in Edwards’ stump speech.
