This segment from the December 21, 1984, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Robyn Ekings’ report on the elderly people in Louisiana who will be spending Christmas alone at home. Her report covers the services available to the elderly at the Council on Aging and senior centers, as well as the Louisiana Mental Health Association’s efforts to raise money to provide depression services for the elderly.
