They discuss: the performances of Edwin Edwards, Buddy Roemer, and the Legislature in the 1980s; the possibility of changing the state’s open primary election system; J. Bennett Johnston’s reelection chances in the 1990 United States Senate election; and Governor Roemer’s reelection chances in the 1991 gubernatorial election.
