Chapa reports that the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is considering allowing seafood irradiation in order to kill dangerous bacteria. Chapa interviews: Dr. Joseph Liuzzo, food sciences researcher at LSU; Bryan Pape and Dan Yaun of Louisiana Pure Shellfish, a company that uses a natural purging process on oysters; and Michael Zamour, a natural food store owner.
