Description
This segment from the February 25, 1994, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Arcie Chapa’s report on the new owner of Rosedown Plantation in St. Francisville evicting the members of the historic Rosedown Plantation Baptist Church from their church and cemetery. Chapa reports that the owner and church members have reached an agreement allowing the church to purchase the land where the church and cemetery are located.
