His report includes interviews with: Governor Edwin Edwards; David Hood, fiscal analyst; State Representative Woody Jenkins; State Representative Charles Anding; Don Allison of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI); Fred Skelton of the Louisiana Federation of Teachers; Secretary Gayle Truly of the Louisiana Department of Labor; State Treasurer Mary Landrieu; and Secretary Ralph Slaughter of the Louisiana Department of Revenue and Taxation. Host Robert Collins then conducts an in-studio interview with Ben Jeffers, Governor Edwards’ chief of staff and the chairman of the Governor’s Special Commission on Violent Crime. He discusses the Governor’s legislative package aimed at reducing violent crime.
