This segment from the September 26, 2008, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Charlie Whinham’s visit with Father Joseph McGrath, a pastor at three Catholic churches in South Cameron and Creole in Cameron Parish, in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike. Whinham follows Father McGrath as he tours the damage, visits with his parishioners, and assesses the missing caskets that floated away from the parish cemetery.
