This segment from the October 17, 2008, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Shauna Sanford’s tour of the new Robinson Film Center in downtown Shreveport, a facility dedicated to helping local and regional independent filmmakers produce and showcase their work. She talks to Chris Jay about the mission of the Robinson Film Center and their “Lights, Camera, Learning” program, which teaches media literacy to K-12 students by helping them write, shoot and edit their own films. Sanford also interviews film producers Blayne Weaver and Brandon Barrera, natives of Bossier City working in California, who recently premiered their film “Outside Sales” at the Robinson Film Center.
