Description
This segment from the March 12, 2010, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Shauna Sanford’s visit to the Bayou Regional of the FIRST Robotics Competition at the Alario Center in Westwego. Sanford reports that 36 teams of high school students from eight states participated in the competition, which requires them to build a robot from scratch in six weeks.
