Description
This segment from the October 8, 2010, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Charlie Whinham’s report on the Eagle Scout project of 15-year-old Ian Woldt. Whinham reports that Woldt raised $6,000 and traveled to East Africa for five weeks during the summer to install a water system and deliver pediatric medical equipment to a baby house in Uganda. Whinham interviews: Ian Woldt; Dan Woldt, his father; Fay Girourd, a Ugandan missionary; and Carsten Jesperson, the executive director of Uganda Childcare.
