This segment from the December 9, 2011, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features the second part of Shauna Sanford’s report on Alzheimer’s Disease in Louisiana. Sanford interviews Dr. Jeffery Keller, the director of the Institute for Dementia Research and Prevention at the Pennington Biomedical Research Center in Baton Rouge, who discusses his work on two studies, the Louisiana Aging Brain Study and the Jo Lamar Dementia Study. Sanford also interviews two of the participants in the studies, Iva Tullier and Ray Mack.
