This segment from the June 29, 2012, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Sue Lincoln’s visit to the LSU Tiger Challenge Camps in Baton Rouge, week-long intensive summer camps for kindergarten through eighth grade students. Lincoln reports that the camps help to combat the students’ summer learning loss. She interviews Ellen Daugherty, the LSU Camp Director, who discusses the educational value of the camps.
