This segment from the August 31, 2012, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features producer Gary Allen’s report on the flooding caused by Hurricane Isaac in Madisonville. He interviews homeowner Greg Lalonde, who discusses the flooding sustained by homes that had never experienced flooding in past storms. He also visits the special needs shelter for Hurricane Isaac evacuees at the LSU Field House in Baton Rouge. Allen talks to Incident Commander Jamie Roques about the services offered at the shelter.
