This segment from the July 12, 2013, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Charlie Whinham’s visit with Chuck McMains of Baton Rouge, an antique gun collector who will be attending Antiques Roadshow in Baton Rouge on July 27th. He shows off his pair of 200-year-old British muskets, including one that may have been used during the Battle of New Orleans in 1815. He shares what he knows about the muskets and what he hopes to find out from the Antiques Roadshow appraisers.
