Description
This segment from the November 7, 2014, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Shauna Sanford’s report on the establishment of the Louisiana Esperanza Project by the Catholic Charities of Baton Rouge in order to provide legal assistance to the 1,000 unaccompanied children from Central America who crossed the Mexico-United States border illegally and are now living in Louisiana.
