It includes interviews with: Angelique Bergeron, a prospective parent; Marcie Cazayoux, the principal of Rougon Elementary School; Dr. William Arceneaux, the president of the Council for the Development of French in Louisiana (CODOFIL); Superintendent of Education John White; and Governor John Bel Edwards. This report also includes highlights from a press conference with Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB) President and CEO Beth Courtney and Groupe Media TFO (Television Francaise de l’Ontario) President and CEO Glenn O’Farrell announcing a partnership between LPB, CODOFIL, and TFO to present French children’s programming on LPB2 for use in the state’s French immersion programs.
