It includes: State Senator J.P. Morrell, the chairman of the Senate Revenue and Fiscal Affairs Committee, discussing the need to raise more revenue that is not allocated to the Department of Health; an interview with State Representative Neil Abramson, the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, on the revenue that is already available; Stephen Waguespack, the president of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), and State Senator Rick Ward testifying on Ward’s bill forcing businesses to choose between two existing tax credits; State Representative Abramson speaking in favor of reducing the amount of excess itemized tax deductions that an individual can claim on their state taxes; and an interview with State Representative Julie Stokes on her disagreement with Abramson’s plan because of the uncertainty that it will cause taxpayers.
