This segment from the July 1, 2016, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Charlie Whinham’s interview with Justin Roberts from Lake Charles via Skype. Roberts served as a U.S. Army Chaplain in Afghanistan for two years and produced a documentary called “No Greater Love” about his experiences. He discusses: his time in Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne Division; carrying a camera during his deployment; the military-civilian divide; the issues facing veterans when they return home; and the plans for a special screening of the documentary in Lake Charles.
