Description

This segment from the November 3, 2017, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Andre Moreau’s visit to the new LSU Center for River Studies building located on the Water Campus in downtown Baton Rouge. Moreau tours the center’s physical model of the Lower Mississippi River, which will be open to the public in 2018. He interviews Dr. Clint Willson, the director of the LSU Center for River Studies, and Rudy Simoneaux, a project manager for the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA), who discuss how the model will be used in scientific research and as an educational and outreach tool for the public.
