This segment from the September 6, 2019, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Andre Moreau’s visit to the Louisiana Cancer Research Center in New Orleans, an institution established by the Louisiana Legislature in 2002 and run by the LSU Health Sciences Center, Tulane University School of Medicine, Xavier University, and the Ochsner Health System. Moreau reports that the LCRC established the Gulf South Clinical Trials Network, which provides cutting-edge treatments to cancer patients throughout Louisiana.
