This segment from the March 13, 2020, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Andre Moreau and Natasha Williams’ update on the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. Moreau then interviews Dr. Tatiana Saavedra, an infectious disease specialist at the Baton Rouge Clinic, who discusses: high risk groups for COVID-19; relying on CDC guidance for the latest information; the importance of handwashing; and the evolving knowledge about the virus. Lastly, Moreau interviews Dr. Jim Richardson, an economist, who discusses the economic impact of the pandemic.
