This segment from the June 25, 2021, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Andre Moreau’s interview with Skip Bertman and his wife Sandy Bertman. Bertman served as the head coach of the LSU baseball team from 1984-2001 and led the team to five national championships in 1991, 1993, 1996, 1997, and 2000. He also served as the LSU Athletic Director from 2001-2008. They discuss the early years of their relationship and their decision to move to Baton Rouge.
