This segment from the August 4, 2023, episode of the series “Louisiana: The State We’re In” features Karen LeBlanc’s report on the restoration efforts at Kisatchie National Forest following the destruction of 200,000 acres of longleaf pine during Hurricane Laura in 2020. LeBlanc reports that 2,500 acres have been replanted so far.
