This episode of the series “La Veillee” from October 13, 2022, features Drake LeBlanc and Caitlin Orgeron of Tele-Louisiane reporting on the work of the Saint-Luc Immersion Campus in Arnaudville, a new cultural and educational center aimed at preserving the French language in Louisiana. They interview Mavis Arnaud Fruge, an Arnaudville resident and French language advocate, and Reverend Wilfred Paul Cluse, a founding member of CREOLE, Inc. In the studio, Orgeron interviews State Representative Mike Huval, who discusses the future of the French language in Louisiana.
