Lopez served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He discusses: his training at Fort Polk, Louisiana; his role as a heavy equipment operator on four major operations in Vietnam; his worst experience of the war; selling Tabasco Sauce to his fellow soldiers; living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); and his medical problems due to Agent Orange exposure.
