An oral history interview conducted on September 12, 2007, with John J. Langdon, a member of the United States Navy during World War II. He discusses: enlisting in the Navy; his placement in the supply department; being stationed at Kaneohe Bay in Hawaii, Midway Island, and Pearl Harbor; being present at the Pacific Strategy Conference between President Franklin D. Roosevelt, Admiral Chester Nimitz and General Douglas MacArthur; his wartime correspondence with his future wife; and attending college because of the GI Bill.
