Description
An oral history interview conducted on September 10, 2007, with Paul M. O’Neal, Jr., a maintenance worker with the 361st Fighter Group of the Army Air Corps during World War II. He discusses: sleeping in Nissen huts at his air base in England; his work on the guns and bombs of the airplanes, including B-51s; and the time he overslept and left a gun on a plane unloaded before it went on a mission. He also shares his medals and photographs from World War II.
