This segment from the 1999 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Kristen Bennett, a sixth grade student at Moss Bluff Middle School. Bennett suffered from a brain tumor that has left her without the use of her lower body. Her treatment also caused her to lose her hearing.
