This segment from the 2004 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree William Dunckelman, an eighth grade student at Houma Christian School. Dunckelman maintains a 4.0 grade point average and is a tireless fundraiser. After enduring two diseases normally associated with the elderly, Tigason’s Disease and shingles, he began volunteering at local nursing homes.
