Description
This segment from the 2005 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Joshua Bell, a fourth grade student at Carver Primary School in Gonzales. Bell was born with Sickle Cell Anemia and is the poster child and spokesperson for the Baton Rouge Sickle Cell Foundation. He is a talented musician, who performs in a gospel group called “The Voices of Victory” with his sister. He also collects money for the Children’s Miracle Network and raises money to purchase stuffed animals for the children at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. Host: Emily Schmidt
