This segment from the 2006 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Shakeisha Coleman, a sophomore at Loyola College Prep in Shreveport. Coleman suffered a brain aneurysm while volunteering at an evacuee shelter after Hurricane Katrina. After successful brain surgery and a lengthy recovery, she is back at school and volunteering her time for school and church activities.
