Description
This segment from the 2009 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Carter Boyd, a freshman at Loyola College Prep in Shreveport. Boyd founded a program called BAGS (Be a Good Sport) to collect and distribute free athletic equipment to thousands of underprivileged children in the Shreveport area. He is also an honors student, an Eagle Scout, a member of the baseball team, and an altar server at his church.
